Material Handler

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting the logistics and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Burgaw, NC

Pay Range: $20

Shift: Night and Evening Shift (20:00-03:00)

What's the Job?

• Operate walkie rider pallet jacks to pull orders and transport pallets of product
• Safely load and unload pallets from trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement
• Utilize handheld computers and other technology to track load progress and update records
• Assist in managing process flow within the Shipping department to fulfill customer orders efficiently
• Adapt to new techniques and processes, working independently or as part of a team to meet goals

What's Needed?

• Must be forklift certified with at least 6 months of experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
• Strong reading and recording skills in English
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as required
