Material Handler

Our client, a leading manufacturing and distribution organization, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Shipping department supporting order fulfillment and safe, accurate movement of product. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, dependable, and adaptable—ready to keep orders moving smoothly from staging to customer trucks.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Burgaw, NC

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 1st shift M-F 6:30am - 3:00pm

What's the Job?

• Operate a walkie rider pallet jack to pull orders and transport pallets of product
• Transition pallets of product to the order staging area and prepare them for shipment
• Load and unload pallets to and from trucks to support timely deliveries
• Use handheld computers and other technology to track load progress
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet established shipping goals, while staying flexible to assist in other areas as business needs change

What's Needed?

• Forklift certified (walkie rider pallet jack experience required)
• Minimum of 6 months of forklift experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to read orders and record information in English
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
