Packer

Our client is seeking several Packers to join their team.  As a Packer, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting daily fulfillment and shipment preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a reliable work ethic, and the ability to follow clear instructions—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Packer / Scanner

Location: Orangeburg, NY

Pay Range: $17.00/hr

Shift: Training is 1st shift M–Thurs 8–5, Fri 8–2 for 2 weeks
Then position will transition to 2nd shift Sun–Thurs 4:00pm–12:30am
 

What's the Job?

• Use handheld scan guns (similar to an iPhone) to scan product and follow the on-shelf green light direction.
• Place scanned items into totes and push them down a conveyor belt for packing into boxes.
• Support the packing process by preparing items for shipment, including labeling and box preparation.
• Perform basic packing duties based on picking slips and shipment requirements.
• Stay focused and consistent while working on your feet for the full shift.
• No heavy lifting required

What's Needed?

• Prior warehouse experience needed.
• Comfort using handheld scanning equipment and following step-by-step procedures.
• Ability to stand and stay active throughout the shift.
• Willingness to complete a county background check as required.
• Motivation to learn the scanning and packing workflow—training will be provided.
