Are you a safe and dependable driver looking for a stable opportunity? We are currently hiring Parking Lot Drivers in Benicia, CA. In this role, you will safely move and stage vehicles throughout the yard while performing inspections and maintaining quality and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform pre-movement vehicle inspections, checking for:
- Visible damage
- Tire inflation
- Safety hazards
- Overall vehicle readiness
- Verify VIN numbers against work orders as needed.
- Ensure protective materials such as seat covers and floor mats are properly installed.
- Document inspection results and complete required paperwork.
- Safely drive vehicles throughout the yard while following speed limits and safety protocols.
- Shuttle vehicles between staging areas, processing bays, transport lines, and designated locations.
- Park vehicles according to company standards.
- Accurately complete movement records and vehicle processing documentation.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and ISO requirements.
- Report vehicle defects, safety concerns, and irregularities immediately.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
- Ability to follow procedures and work independently.
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and driving.
- Exposure to moving vehicles and yard traffic.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
