Pharmaceutical Packaging Specialist

Our client, Light Industrial is seeking a Packaging Specialist to join their team. As a Packaging Specialist, you will be part of the Operations team supporting order fulfillment and prescription distribution. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a quality-focused mindset, and the ability to stay on task in a fast-paced environment—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Packaging Specialist

Location: Onsite — Jeffersonville, IN 47130

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday–Saturday schedule)

What's the Job?

• Pack, sort, and ship prescriptions directly to retail pharmacies and end-customer in a fast-paced semi-automated production environment.
• Pack, sort, and ship prescriptions with 100% accuracy and efficiency using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and McKesson supported hardware and software.
• Read computer-generated screens and select the correct items for packing or sorting.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and complete other duties as assigned.
• Be available for mandatory overtime based on business need.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills to support accurate order processing.
• Ability to consistently carry 20–30 lbs. short distances and 15 lbs. on an extended basis from the order filling station to the conveyor.
• Ability to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to the order filling line.
• Excellent attention to detail, quality focus, and teamwork mindset.
