Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the automotive industry, is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be part of the manufacturing operations supporting a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Kokomo, IN
Pay Range: $55-$58
Shift: Nights, Evenings (00:00-06:30)
What's the Job?
- Manage small work teams in a high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment to meet production goals.
- Ensure team safety by enforcing safety protocols and promoting a safe workplace culture.
- Build, train, and allocate manpower effectively to optimize productivity and team morale.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate activities to achieve business metrics and implement Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) processes and initiatives.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred.
- Ability to work any shift, including overtime, with flexibility across all shifts.
- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with team members and plant leadership.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience in a supervisory role in a high-volume environment is advantageous.
