Sitdown Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Sitdown Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Sitdown Forklift Operator, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations team supporting loading, staging, and unloading trucks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sitdown Forklift Operator

Location: Romulus, MI

Pay Range: 18.15/hr

Shift: 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Training on day shift from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM during the first week)

What's the Job?

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and stage materials efficiently and safely
• Assist in staging products for shipment and ensuring proper placement
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
• Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and report any issues
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals

What's Needed?

• Previous experience operating sit-down forklifts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong attention to safety procedures and protocols
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
