Stand-Up Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking a safety-conscious and dependable Stand-Up Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This position is responsible for operating a stand-up forklift to load and unload trailers, moving and staging products, repackaging and relabeling materials, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring products meet quality standards.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is willing to assist with both forklift and general warehouse duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a stand-up forklift to move, load, and unload products.
  • Load and unload trailers accurately and efficiently.
  • Stage and sort products for loading, shipping, and distribution.
  • Sort and place products or parts in racks and other designated warehouse areas.
  • Repackage and relabel products according to customer or operational requirements.
  • Electronically scan and track products using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or RF scanner.
  • Read and follow production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine materials to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Perform quality control inspections on incoming and outgoing products.
  • Identify damaged products upon receipt and ensure they are properly removed or reported.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and product movement records.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse requirements.

Qualifications

  • Previous stand-up forklift experience required.
  • Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Experience loading and unloading trailers.
  • Ability to use RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Comfortable performing repackaging, relabeling, sorting, and other hands-on warehouse duties.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
