Stand Up Forklift Picker/ Material Handler

Our client, Logistics & Warehousing is seeking a Stand Up Forklift Picker/ Material Handler to join their team. As a Stand Up Forklift Picker/ Material Handler, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations team supporting day-to-day material movement and accurate inventory handling. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and the drive to keep freight moving safely and efficiently.

Job Title: Stand Up Forklift Picker/ Material Handler

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Pay Range: $19.50

Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm (OT As Needed) 

What's the Job?

• Load and unload freight efficiently across multiple zones and docks within the main Holton Street facility.
• Use stand-up forklift skills to support picking and material handling needs, including assistance at the Richards Street facility as required.
• Transition between facilities when tasks are completed at the primary site to maintain continuous productivity.
• Operate within a fully secure facility environment with 24/7 camera monitoring while following all safety and process expectations.
• Use a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track, log, and manage inventory accurately.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience operating large sit-down forklifts.
• Strong stand-up forklift proficiency (essential for supporting the Richards facility).
• Hands-on experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Clear, professional communication skills for coordinating by phone and email.
• Proven reliability with a solid employment history demonstrating longevity and commitment to past employers.
