USA|General Labor Blaster / Crane Operator

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a USA|General Labor Blaster / Crane Operator to join their team. As a USA|General Labor Blaster / Crane Operator, you will be part of the Special Process Department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: USA|General Labor Blaster / Crane Operator

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $21-$22 per hour

Shift: 5:30am-4:00pm, Monday - Thursday

What's the Job?

• Perform grit blasting of components, including removal of TBC and bond coat, prior to inspection, repair, or coating
• Operate shot peen equipment and adjust parameters as needed on blast machines
• Transport components within the department using forklifts or other means
• Assist in performing preventative maintenance on blasting equipment and maintain records
• Maintain a clean work environment and replenish consumable materials such as blasting media

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in an industrial environment, specifically with blasting metal materials
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math skills
• Capability to operate forklift and obtain certification if necessary
• Commitment to safety procedures and attention to detail
