Warehouse Associate

Our client, located in Brooklyn, OH is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting fast, accurate freight movement. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to follow real-time instructions, and the drive to keep orders moving smoothly during peak hours.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Brooklyn, OH

Pay Range: $19/hour

Shift: 5 Days per week.  Days off TBD 12:00PM-6:00PM 

What's the Job?

• Oversee the rush hour period for Roadie by working alongside both the Morning and Evening shift teams to help buffer personnel gaps during peak pick-up hours.
• Unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders for processing.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.

What's Needed?

• Basic English language proficiency (spoken and written) to understand critical safety alerts, read warning labels, and follow real-time operational instructions.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills to coordinate effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, due to varying freight volumes.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds, and experience loading/unloading trailers and/or using handheld scanners is preferred.
