Our client, an industrial leader in energy production and fuel management, is seeking a Creo Feeder Operator to join their team. As a Creo Feeder Operator, you will be part of the operations department supporting plant management and fuel handling teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety and maintenance, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Creo Feeder Operator
Location: McBain, Michigan
Pay Range: $20
Shift: Day and Night 12-hour shifts (6am to 6pm, 6pm to 6am), rotating weekly schedule
What's the Job?
- Carry out duties assigned by the Operations Manager to ensure safe, proper, and efficient plant operations
- Operate machinery and fuel handling equipment, including loaders and skid steers, following safety guidelines
- Interface with site personnel to maintain proper operation and maintenance of fuel handling systems
- Participate in preventative and predictive maintenance programs for fuel handling equipment
- Assist during outages and support plant operations to resume creosote feeding as needed
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in maintenance, machine operation, or related fields
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to respond to plant emergencies and handle multiple assignments accurately
- Valid driver’s license and insurable under company auto insurance
- Must have a working phone and ability to be on call when needed
