Our client, agricultural manufacturing and logistics operations is seeking a Fork Lift Operator - Renwick to join their team. As a Fork Lift Operator - Renwick, you will be part of the warehouse team supporting day-to-day material handling, inventory movement, and safe operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment, and the drive to keep accurate records while moving products.
Job Title: Fork Lift Operator - Renwick
Location: Renwick, IA
Pay Range: $19.50/hr
Shift: Must be able to rotate all 3 shifts every two weeks. 1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm; 2nd Shift: 2pm-10:30pm; 3rd Shift: 10pm-6:30am
What's the Job?
- Operate a forklift professionally and safely, completing and maintaining accurate forklift inspections.
- Perform systematic maintenance and cleaning of the forklift to keep equipment in reliable working condition.
- Use the WMS to continuously track the location of goods during material handling and ensure accurate data entry.
- Support warehouse needs as directed by the warehouse supervisor or team lead, including tasks such as sampling, inventory, and cleaning.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment and follow emergency procedures when necessary.
What's Needed?
- Ability to count accurately when moving inventory and maintain attention to detail.
- Ability to read scales and follow instructions to ensure correct handling and placement of materials.
- Alert, safety-minded operation of a forklift, including driving in a safe manner.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work in tighter, confined spaces with a forklift.
