Forklift Operators - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Our client, a leading organization in the industrial sector, is seeking dedicated Forklift Operators - 2nd & 3rd Shift to join their dynamic team.  As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong safety awareness, reliability, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operators - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Location: Middletown, NY

Pay Range: $21.80/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm, Alternating Saturdays) / 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday, 11pm-7am, Alternating Sundays)
 

What's the Job?

• Operate forklifts and other lifting devices to move, load, unload, and stack materials, products, and goods safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Manage inventory by accurately storing, organizing, and tracking materials within storage areas, updating records as needed.
• Load and unload materials from trailers, trucks, and other transport vehicles, ensuring secure handling.
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures, securing loads properly, and reporting any safety concerns promptly.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Proficiency in forklift operation and inventory management.
• Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures.
• Reliable and punctual with excellent teamwork skills.
