General Labor- Truss Assembler

Our client, a leading organization in the construction and manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Labor- Truss Assembler to join their team. As a vital part of the manufacturing department supporting the production process, the ideal candidate will demonstrate teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: General Labor- Truss Assembler

Location: Chesapeake, VA

Pay Range: $19.00

What's the Job?

• Build and assemble roof and floor trusses according to detailed design specifications
• Complete daily startup checklists to ensure all equipment is prepared for production
• Set up frameworks on the building table based on design plans
• Place lumber pieces accurately and join them with metal plates using appropriate tools
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and safety standards are maintained throughout the process

What's Needed?

• Experience in manufacturing or related fields is preferred
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks at a fast pace while standing for long periods
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds safely and effectively
