Industrial cleaner

Our client, a leader in industrial and manufacturing services, is seeking an Industrial Cleaner to join their team. As an Industrial Cleaner, you will be part of the sanitation department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Cleaner

Location: Altavista, VA

Pay Range: $16.00 

Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform housekeeping and sanitation tasks in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements.
• Clean and sanitize manufacturing areas, raw ingredient, and packaging storage locations.
• Prepare and accurately mix cleaning chemicals according to approved procedures.
• Operate sanitation equipment, including floor scrubbers, buffers, and chemical dispensing tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment, ensuring a safe work environment.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and provide proof of education.
• Knowledge of sanitation requirements in a manufacturing environment or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
