Inventory clerk

Our client, a leader in the distribution of paper products for educational institutions, is seeking a dedicated Inventory Clerk to join their team. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations, supporting the handling and organization of paper supplies for schools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Inventory clerk

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Pay Range: 18 + weekly attendance bonus

Shift: 6am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Manage inventory of paper products such as toilet paper, paper plates, and other supplies.
• Operate Cherry picker and Reach truck to handle and organize stock efficiently
• Assist in stacking pallets and preparing daily loads for delivery or storage
• Ensure accurate recording of inventory movements and maintain organized storage areas
• Work collaboratively with a small team to complete daily tasks and meet operational goals

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2+ years of recent Reach truck, cherry picker and inventory control experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear steel toe shoes for safety
• Willingness to work until daily loads are completed and assist with stacking pallets if needed
• Dress code includes jeans or thick pants like Dickies and a T-shirt without large graphics
• Clean background with no felony or theft charges in the past 7 years
