Machine Assistant

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Assistant to join their team. As a Machine Assistant, you will be part of the manufacturing operations supporting the Converting, Rewinding, or Coating departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Assistant

Location: Appleton, WI

Pay Range::$18-$20

Shift: Days & Nights (10, 12 hours)

What's the Job?

• Support manufacturing operations within the Converting, Rewinding, or Coating departments.
• Assist production teams with hands-on tasks to ensure smooth machine operation.
• Receive training in various support positions such as Roll Tender or Packaging Operator.
• Prepare and stage rolls for mounting on sheeters, rewinders, or coating presses.
• Wrap and prepare finished paper products, including rolls, sheets, or boxed paper, using packaging equipment.

What's Needed?

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to learn multiple roles and develop new skills.
• Comfort with lifting, bending, and moving finished goods regularly.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
