Materials Handler Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Materials Handler to join their team. As a Materials Handler, you will be part of the warehouse support team, assisting with receiving, storing, issuing, packaging, and shipping materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Materials Handler

Location: Pearland, TX

Pay Range: $1

Shift: 1st shift, Monday to Thursday from 6am to 4pm with a 1-hour lunch, and Friday from 6am to 10am

What's the Job?

• Assist with receiving shipments, inspecting for damage, and documenting issues
• Uncrate and verify materials received against purchase orders
• Input receiving data into the system accurately
• Move inventory and assist in locating lost materials
• Prepare and ship materials, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations

What's Needed?

• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Willingness to perform miscellaneous tasks as required
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and regulations
• Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed
