Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the Production team supporting day-to-day packaging operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to food safety and quality, and the ability to learn and operate packaging equipment effectively—so you can help finished products move smoothly from production to the right packaging format.

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay Range: $18.50-$19.25
Shift: 1st Shift $18.50 2nd Shift $19.25
What's the Job?
- Follow correct packaging procedures to ensure products are packaged accurately and consistently.
- Operate various packaging equipment, including Bag-In-Box, Bottle Filler, and Bulk Line, to package finished product.
- Set up equipment and perform changeovers to switch packaging formats as needed.
- Print and verify finished product labels, then label and assemble master cases correctly.
- Check and verify Critical Control Points (CCPs) and maintain compliance with Food Safety guidelines, procedures, rules and regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
What's Needed?
- Ability to lift up to, and including, 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand continuously for up to, and including, 4 hour periods of time.
- Willingness to obtain forklift operator certification.
- Good organizational skills with strong time management and the ability to multi-task in a production environment.
- Knowledge of packaging systems and the ability to operate filling equipment safely and effectively.
