Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Packing / Assembly to join their team. As a Packing / Assembly, you will be part of the Production Department supporting assembly and packaging operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.


Job Title: Packing / Assembly

Location: New Bern, NC

Pay Range: $16.50

Shift: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift


What's the Job?

  • Perform repetitive assembly of products into complete packages and/or sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
  • Conduct final inspections of products before shipment to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Handle packaging tasks such as generating and placing labels, operating small production equipment, and fitting assembly units.
  • Maintain compliance with safety rules and regulations, and correct any safety issues before performing operations.
  • Inspect materials for shipping damage and defects, and ensure products meet finished goods inspection procedures.

What's Needed?

  • At least 3 years of Manufacturing experience required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a repetitive assembly environment.
  • Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift +75lbs
