Retail Store Clerk General Laborer

Our client, retail industry is seeking a Retail Store Clerk to join their team. As a Retail Store Clerk, you will be part of the customer service team supporting store operations. The ideal candidate will have friendly communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Retail Store Clerk

Location: Elkridge, MD

Pay Range: $18.75

Shift: Monday-Wednesday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Thursday-Friday with potential until 6:00 PM, Saturday 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Greet customers warmly and respond to product inquiries to create a positive shopping experience.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
• Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and ensure smooth checkout processes.
• Assist with processing incoming shipments and monitor inventory levels.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization to promote a welcoming atmosphere.

• Strong oral and written communication skills for effective customer and team interactions.
• Friendly, customer-oriented attitude essential for delivering excellent service.
• Attention to detail in stocking, inventory management, and cashiering tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
