Seasonal Warehouse Associate

Our client, in the Industrial sector, is seeking a Seasonal Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Seasonal Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the logistics and operations team supporting library and storage management activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Seasonal Warehouse Associate

Location: Downtown Knoxville, TN

Pay Range: $20.00

Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM, Monday through Friday

When: October 19th through November 24th

What's the Job?

• Lift and move books from shelving to carts at Hoskins Library on campus
• Scan and load books onto library carts for processing
• Move carts to loading areas, pushing and pulling up to 600 lbs
• Unload trucks at the LSA Building, removing books to be trayed in the main staging area
• Assemble book trays and record book counts accurately throughout the project

What's Needed?

• Ability to read and speak English
• Capability to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours daily
• Willingness to bend, squat, and climb library ladders as required
• Follow instructions precisely and work independently or as part of a team
