Our client, Manufacturing and Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Specialist Fork Truck to join their team. As a Warehouse Specialist Fork Truck, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations supporting Shipping and Receiving. The ideal candidate will have strong safety awareness, accurate order processing skills, and the ability to learn new systems quickly, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Specialist Fork Truck

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $1

Shift: 7am-330pm

What's the Job?

  • Operate a fork truck and/or Wave machine to load and unload materials onto racks.
  • Operate manual and automatic banding equipment and various power tools as needed.
  • Load or unload products and handle raw and finished materials safely and efficiently.
  • Transfer materials to flats for transportation throughout the facility and coordinate delivery of customer goods with freight companies.
  • Use Oracle/JDE to complete tasks, including reading order requirements, pulling correct parts, verifying quantities, auditing transactions, and preparing freight bills and export/domestic shipment documentation.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to learn and obtain certifications as required to operate material moving equipment, power hand tools, and overhead hoists.
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills to verify markings, certifications, and order requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to learn company software (including Oracle/JDE) within one month of employment and use computers and general office equipment.
