Assistant Team Leader – Warehouse (1st Shift)

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift (flexibility required for overtime and weekends)

Position Summary

The Assistant Team Leader supports daily warehouse operations by helping lead a team in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. This role assists in driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, reliable, and able to thrive in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Team Leader in overseeing daily warehouse operations and workflow
Support team members to meet productivity, quality, and performance goals
Help coordinate staffing, assignments, and workflow to support production demands
Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and support as needed
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures
Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding daily activities
Assist with onboarding and training new employees
Step in to lead operations in the Team Leader’s absence

Qualifications

Bilingual required (English/Spanish)
Minimum of 1 year of Team Lead or leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production or warehouse environment
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Basic computer skills; warehouse system experience preferred

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, walking, lifting, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
