Distribution Coordinator

Our client, manufacturing and logistics operations is seeking a Distribution Coordinator to join their team. As a Distribution Coordinator, you will be part of the Shipping and Logistics function supporting daily distribution execution. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to learn and operate shipping systems with accuracy, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Distribution Coordinator

Location: Jersey Village, TX

Pay Range: $1

Shift: 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11 PM). First 2 weeks on day shift for training (6 AM–2:30 PM).

What's the Job?

• Accurately demonstrate knowledge in shipping and logistics by executing assignments given by the Shipping Supervisor and the Parts Kits GEMBA Board.
• Maintain accurate inventory lot integrity, certificate of conformance, and country of origin documentation and tracking.
• Ensure distribution procedures are followed, report discrepancies promptly, and enter transactions accurately in Oracle.
• Execute standardized work practices for Parts Kits by storing inventory in the proper location, counting and labeling correctly, and preventing injury or damage while improving efficiency.
• Process paperwork and transactions to keep inventory data accurate; move material using sit-down and stand-up forklifts and handcarts, including unloading received material.

What's Needed?

• At least two years of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Sound technical knowledge of Oracle or a similar shipping system.
• Ability to maintain documentation accuracy (lot integrity, certificates of conformance, and country of origin) and ensure traceability.
• Comfort working with standardized work practices, inventory organization, and safe material handling.
• Willingness to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare regular reports for supervisor review, and participate in investigations related to customer complaints.
