Pay Rate: $24/hr
Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What You'll Do

  • Perform venipuncture and specimen collection procedures on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Process and prepare clinical and forensic specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and required documentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service while creating a professional and reassuring experience for patients
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and confidentiality standards
  • Work independently while managing daily responsibilities accurately and efficiently
  • Promote a positive image with patients, clients, team members, and the public

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required
  • One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Medical assistant, paramedic, or other medical training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections
  • Strong customer service and patient communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Keyboard and data entry experience
  • Flexibility to support staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call assignments, and overtime as needed
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements, including required MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and TB testing; COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations strongly recommended
