Automotive Wire Harness Technician

Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive and electrical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Harness Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Harness Technician, you will be an integral part of the Manufacturing Operations department supporting the Prototyping team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for electrical systems, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Automotive Wire Harness Technician

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $40-$45/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Manufacture and rework wiring harnesses of various sizes and complexities
• Build complex electrical components with minimal instructions
• Assist in root cause analysis and repair of components returned from testing or field use
• Provide feedback to engineering teams on new assembly processes and designs
• Balance multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities efficiently

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of related experience or an Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant job experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams, schematics, wire lists, and formboards
• Experience with diagnostic tools, soldering, DVOM, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
