Our client, Facilities Management, is seeking an Electrician 4 to join their team. As an Electrician 4, you will be part of the Facilities Operations team supporting critical electrical infrastructure within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial or industrial electrical experience, extensive troubleshooting abilities, a commitment to safety and compliance, and experience maintaining power distribution and control systems in mission-critical facilities.
Job Title: Electrician 4
Location: New Albany, OH
Pay Range: $33 to $36/hr
Schedule: 12-hour overnight shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Tuesday, plus every other Wednesday, onsite in New Albany, OH.
What's the Job?
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including power distribution systems, lighting systems, motors, VFDs, controllers, control panels, UPS systems, generators, and transfer equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities in alignment with CMMS work orders, standard operating procedures, and facility requirements.
- Support electrical systems serving manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and cleanroom environments while maintaining required documentation and compliance standards.
- Execute electrical work safely while following OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), arc flash safety practices, and site-specific safety programs.
- Accurately document work performed, update electrical system records, communicate system issues, and collaborate with maintenance teams, engineers, vendors, and facility stakeholders.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3-5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with electrical distribution systems, controls, motors, and VFDs.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
- Working knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and NFPA standards.
- Basic computer skills and experience working with CMMS systems such as Maximo, Corrigo, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work safely in physically demanding environments, including climbing ladders, working at heights, and accessing confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, GMP, GxP, or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting critical facilities, laboratories, warehouses, or cleanroom operations.
- Familiarity with UPS systems, generators, ATS equipment, and emergency power systems.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience working within a structured facilities management environment.
