HVAC Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading commercial facilities and building services organization, is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician - Level 2 to join their Engineering & Technical Services team. As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will support commercial locations throughout the Atlanta area. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mobile HVAC Technician - Level 2

Location: Atlanta, GA

Pay Range: $35/hour

What’s the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Service rooftop units, commercial split systems, exhaust fans, walk-in freezers, coolers, and reach-in refrigeration units.
• Travel between approximately 45 commercial locations throughout the Atlanta area based on assigned work orders and priorities.
• Review and manage work orders, determine required parts and materials, and track repairs through completion.
• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot building systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation.

What’s Needed?

• 2+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience.
• EPA 608 Universal certification or EPA Types II.
• Experience servicing commercial rooftop units, split systems, exhaust fans, walk-in freezers, coolers, and reach-in refrigeration units.
• Valid driver's license and ability to independently travel between service locations.
• High School Diploma or GED; trade school education is a plus.
