Our client, a leading provider of comprehensive facility management services, is seeking a HVAC Technician to join their team. As a HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services supporting maintenance and repair operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: HVAC Technician

Location: Savannah, GA

Pay Range:$28-$32/hr.

What's the Job?

  • Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine the best course of action for repairs or modifications.
  • Support HVAC technicians and perform general maintenance tasks such as changing filters, lightbulbs, ceiling tiles, and supporting safety equipment.
  • Interact with clients and team members to ensure seamless service delivery and safety compliance.

What's Needed?

  • Experience working in a commercial or industrial HVAC environment.
  • Troubleshooting skills with HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Valid universal EPA/type 608 certification highly preferred.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Ability to lift and carry loads of 50 lbs or more, and meet physical requirements including standing, walking, and climbing stairs/ladders.
