Electrical Fabrication Designer

Our client, manufacturing infrastructure engineering is seeking a Electrical Fabrication Designer to join their team. As a Electrical Fabrication Designer, you will be part of the factory infrastructure engineering team supporting multi-disciplinary design efforts. The ideal candidate will have a highly organized mindset, a passion for driving multi-disciplinary projects, and an unparalleled ability to consistently perform at a high level which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:$95000 - $125000

What's the Job?

• Perform design, drafting, and 3D modeling using Revit for electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and telecomm.
• Use the National Electrical Code to create designs that comply with national codes.
• Interface and collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines, including understanding 3D coordination with those disciplines.
• Create clash-free models with components to LOD400 and perform flythroughs for stakeholders using Revizto.
• Interface with construction trades and perform regular field walks to review installation progress and adherence to the model.

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience with evidence of exceptional ability.
• Preferred knowledge of REVIT MEP.
• Proficiency with electrical system components, including conduit types, fittings, cable tray, and related elements.
• Strong desire to be part of a world-class team focused on achieving amazing results.
• Experience designing commercial or industrial facilities; Associate Degree in Computerized Drafting or equivalent experience preferred.
