Lab Technician

Our client, a laboratory testing organization, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Laboratory team supporting laboratory testing operations. The ideal candidate will have initiative, independence, and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: Madison Heights, MI
Pay Rate: $25/hr

What’s the Job?

• Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment within prescribed test parameters.
• Perform light maintenance on laboratory testing equipment.
• Enter samples, perform evaluation techniques, and complete ratings according to established test methods.
• Use a computer for data entry and report generation.
• Collect and accurately record data according to quality standards while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• Ability to operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment.
• Ability to perform testing according to established test methods and procedures.
• Computer skills for data entry and report generation.
• Ability to collect and record data accurately according to quality standards.
• Ability to work with a high level of initiative and independence under the supervision of a Senior Technician.
