Our client, a leading biotechnology/pharmaceutical manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician IV to join their team. As a Senior Maintenance Technician IV, you will be part of the Facilities & Maintenance Department supporting Manufacturing, Laboratory, and Utilities Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, technical leadership abilities, and a proactive problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician IV
Location: Hercules, CA Onsite
Pay Range: $55-$60/hour

What's the Job?

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of lyophilizers, refrigeration systems, vacuum systems, and critical utility equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, instrumentation, and PLC/control system issues.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and upgrade projects.
• Maintain accurate cGMP documentation, calibration records, and maintenance logs.
• Mentor junior technicians and serve as a technical subject matter expert for maintenance and reliability initiatives.

What's Needed?

• 6+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or regulated production environment.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification (required).
• Experience with lyophilizers, industrial refrigeration systems, and vacuum systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-based controls and maintaining cGMP documentation.
