USA|Technical Process Engineer

Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturing organization, is seeking a Technical Process Engineer (Programming Process Owner) to join their team. As a Technical Process Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering department supporting Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Process Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills that will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: Up to $50.00/hour

What’s the Job?

• Develop, maintain, validate, and optimize ABB robotic programs supporting robotic grinding and manufacturing operations.
• Lead process development, troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
• Support automation and capital equipment projects, including equipment specification, installation, commissioning, validation, and production launch.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Maintenance teams to support manufacturing objectives and new product introductions.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, training materials, and technical standards.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting ABB robotic systems using RAPID.
• Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably investment casting, robotic grinding, automated finishing, or material removal processes.
• Knowledge of PLCs, ladder logic, automation systems, and manufacturing process controls.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project leadership skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
