Our client, a leading organization in the industrial inspection and automation sector, is seeking a Vision Systems Engineering Leader to join their team. As a Vision Systems Engineering Leader, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Vision product lines. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, innovative thinking, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:$150,000 - $200,000 + $16,000 Bonus

What's the Job?

• Plan, direct, and oversee the Electrical, Software, and Imaging AI Engineering teams supporting vision product lines.
• Modernize and consolidate legacy inspection product lines into a unified, cutting-edge product portfolio built on current software and GPU-accelerated AI technology.
• Partner with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams to align resources and execute strategic initiatives.
• Lead the development of a technology roadmap, system architecture, and end-to-end system integration including cameras, optics, illumination, and machine controls.
• Drive innovation in AI-based defect detection, classification, and root-cause analysis for various substrates, ensuring high performance and reliability.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years leading engineering teams in industrial machine vision or inspection.
• Proven track record in consolidating or re-platforming legacy products onto a unified architecture.
• Expert knowledge of machine vision system design, AI for industrial defect detection, and GPU-accelerated inference technologies.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with a results-oriented mindset.
