Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Decaler to join our manufacturing team in Landisville, PA. The Decaler is responsible for accurately measuring, preparing, positioning, and applying vinyl graphics, decals, logos, safety labels, and vehicle branding materials to commercial truck bodies and specialty vehicles. This role plays a critical part in ensuring finished products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and visual appearance requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Measure and mark application areas to ensure accurate placement of decals, graphics, and labels.
• Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, inspecting, and removing contaminants prior to decal application.
• Apply vinyl graphics, full-wrap decals, logos, and safety labels to commercial vehicles and truck bodies.
• Read and interpret work orders, production schedules, blueprints, and customer specifications.
• Inspect completed work for alignment, appearance, bubbles, wrinkles, and overall quality.
• Utilize hand tools, measuring devices, squeegees, utility knives, and heat guns as required.
• Remove and replace damaged or improperly applied decals when necessary.
• Maintain inventory of decals, graphics materials, and application supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
• Collaborate with production team members to ensure timely completion of vehicles and customer orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in decal application, vinyl graphics installation, sign production, vehicle wrapping, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to read measuring tools and perform accurate measurements.
• Ability to interpret work instructions and production documentation.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic math skills required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and kneel for extended periods.
• Frequent use of hands and arms for detailed application work.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around manufacturing equipment, adhesives, and production materials.
• Comfortable working on ladders, platforms, or around large commercial vehicles when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with vinyl wraps and large-format graphics.
• Familiarity with measuring and layout techniques.
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and inspection processes.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
