Facilities Maintenance Tech

Our client, a retail shopping center operator, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the physical plant of the shopping center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to doing the right thing, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Tech

Location: Richmond, VA

Pay Range: $20/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

What's the Job?

• Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various building systems
• Operating hi-lifts, trash compactors, freight lift, and trucks
• Repairing, modifying, and moving mall furniture and fixtures
• Performing minor roof, floor, and plumbing repairs
• Assisting with maintaining inventory records and supporting HVAC maintenance

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of Facilities Maintenance experience or similar
• 2 years of technical school graduation or certification preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
