Facilities Maintenance

Our client is seeking a Facilities Maintenance to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance, you will be part of the Facilities & Maintenance department supporting day-to-day facility readiness, safety, and appearance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on problem-solving, strong follow-through, and clear communication skills that align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Support the Facilities Director with day-to-day maintenance, operation, safety, and appearance of club buildings, grounds, docks, recreational facilities, equipment, and physical assets.
• Help implement and document preventative maintenance schedules for building systems and equipment, including routine inspections and corrective actions within assigned authority.
• Respond to maintenance requests and facility emergencies, coordinating appropriate repairs and promptly reporting significant issues to the Facilities Director.
• Assist with tracking equipment, warranties, inspections, service agreements, maintenance histories, and recurring service requirements to keep operations running smoothly.
• Support facility and capital projects by assisting with planning, documentation, scheduling, site coordination, progress tracking, and project closeout.

What's Needed?

• Three or more years of progressively responsible facilities, maintenance, engineering, property operations, or skilled-trade experience (private club, hospitality, marina, or similar experience is a plus).
• Working knowledge of general building maintenance and familiarity with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life-safety systems.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations when required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the professionalism to work effectively with members, guests, employees, vendors, and contractors.
