Our client, a leading aluminum die casting manufacturer, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting Production, Tooling, and Manufacturing Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and a continuous improvement mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Shift: 2nd - 2:00PM to 10:00PM CST (M-F)

Location: Grafton, WI

Pay Range: $25.50 to $35.50/hr + shift differential

What's the Job?

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines, robotic systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and die cast production machinery.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Diagnose and repair facility equipment including furnaces, compressors, pumps, transformers, cooling systems, and plant air systems.
  • Support die maintenance activities including die assembly, repair, component replacement, trim die maintenance, and tooling troubleshooting.
  • Maintain a safe work environment while supporting continuous improvement, 5S initiatives, and quality system requirements.

What's Needed?

  • 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with robotic systems, CNC equipment, welding (MIG/Arc), and industrial maintenance practices.
  • High School Diploma or GED; die cast or injection molding experience is a plus.
