Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Utility Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Utility Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the maintenance department supporting the overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Utility Maintenance Technician

Location: Birdsboro, PA

Pay Range: $45000 - $55000

Shift: 7am-4pm, on call as needed

What's the Job?

  • Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC, ventilation systems, and support equipment.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance calls and perform repairs on machinery, plumbing, and general building needs.
  • Operate and service fire protection systems, including fire alarm and suppression systems.
  • Assist with electrical work in compliance with industrial electrical codes.
  • Maintain exterior property, including debris removal, gutter cleaning, and snow removal, as needed.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • 2-4 years of maintenance experience preferred, including familiarity with machine shop machinery and tools.
  • Ability to work independently, troubleshoot problems, and provide proactive solutions.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and operate hand and power tools effectively.
