Cleaner/Janitor/Custodian

Our client, Industrial Facilities is seeking a Cleaner/Janitor/Custodian to join their team. As a Cleaner/Janitor/Custodian, you will be part of the Facilities Operations supporting the Site Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and reliable attendance, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cleaner/Janitor/Custodian

Location: Stennis Space Center, MS

What's the Job?

• Daily cleaning of the building including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, disposing of garbage, and stocking supplies
• Unpack and receive supplies as needed to keep daily operations running smoothly
• Support internal office moves and relocations, including tear down and building of office cubicles
• Perform general building maintenance tasks as needed, including building start-up and minor electrical and minor plumbing support
• Replace lights, complete general building clean up (interior and exterior), and support recycling and other building maintenance needs

What's Needed?

• General experience with industrial equipment and the ability to perform preventative maintenance repairs
• Knowledge of basic manual work techniques
• Good attendance and a positive attitude is a must
• Ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds
• High school diploma or GED required; 0-2 years related experience required
