Business Support Specialists – Billing & Customer Experience Focus

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a-5p

We are hiring Business Support Specialists to support our client’s growing billing operations team at IDEXX in Westbrook! This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with data and customers in a fast-paced environment. These positions pay $24–$28 per hour and are long-term temporary with potential for a hybrid schedule once fully trained.

This is a unique hybrid role combining order entry, billing operations, and customer service, offering the opportunity to support the full customer lifecycle while helping improve processes and billing accuracy across multiple software products. Apply today!

Typical daily duties:

• Execute one-time and recurring billing using Excel, SAP, and systems like ChargeBee
• Generate monthly billing files and upload into SAP for multiple product lines
• Audit billing for accuracy against contracts, pricing adjustments, and promotions
• Respond to and resolve internal and external billing inquiries
• Process new contracts and orders while maintaining audit-compliant records
• Partner with leadership to improve billing processes and workflows

What we’re looking for:

• Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capability
• Experience with SAP for order entry, billing, or reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical/deductive reasoning skills
• Customer-focused communication skills with ability to build rapport over the phone
• Experience with billing accuracy, audits, and compliance standards
