Our client, an educational institution dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive environment, is seeking a People Operations Specialist to join their team. As a People Operations Specialist, you will be part of the Human Resources Department supporting faculty and staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: People Operations Specialist (HR Generalist)
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Pay Range: $36/hr.
Shift: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
- Support the full spectrum of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and HR compliance.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and provide day-to-day HR support.
- Handle employee complaints, conduct investigations, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Analyze employee feedback and HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop training materials and build structured learning paths for different roles and career stages.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED with at least 7 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels.
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
