Our client, Light Industrial Manufacturing is seeking a Assembler Associate to join their team. As a Assembler Associate, you will be part of the Production team supporting aseptic filling and label application activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to GMP compliance, the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment, and the drive to maintain quality and safety at every step.

Job Title: Assembler Associate

Location: Abbott Park, IL

Pay Range: $22.50

Shift: 2nd shift (Training starts on 1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm; then transitions to split shift; then fully to 2nd shift in November)

What's the Job?

  • Follow established GMP instructions without deviation while working in an ISO 7 environment for aseptic filling and related tasks.
  • Operate filling and labeling equipment, including setup, shutdown, and cleaning, ensuring accurate execution of procedures and specifications.
  • Perform quality checks and complete inspection of products and materials to ensure acceptable visual and physical appearance.
  • Monitor production activities and clear minor jams or address downtime issues to minimize impact to the production process.
  • Maintain accurate, legible documentation (digital and hard copy), support general housekeeping, and promptly report abnormal equipment function, product problems, incidents, injuries, or safety hazards.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Capability to lift 20 lbs.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtracting, division and multiplication) and basic computer literacy (data entry, inventory software, Microsoft Office).
  • Prior experience manufacturing in a GMP environment and experience adhering to ISO standards.
  • Ability to gown to work in a clean environment (hood, shoe covers, coveralls, etc.).
