Our client, Light Industrial Manufacturing is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Production Assembly, you will be part of the Production team supporting assembly and quality processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the drive to meet production schedules while producing components that meet engineering specifications.

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Pay Range: $22-24

Shift: 2pm - 10:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Perform assembly of cryogenic pump components and other tasks as assigned, including fit, align, and adjust components to close tolerances.
  • Document all clearances on assembly clearance data sheets for engineering review and approval.
  • Verify work conformance to specifications, customer requirements, and work instructions per SOP procedures and drawings/blueprints.
  • Troubleshoot and perform rework as necessary; contribute to failure analysis when requested.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in accordance with 5S principles while following Quality, Engineering, Sales, and Safety procedures.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of Mechanical/ Electrical Assembly experience
  • Experience with installation, maintenance, or repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Refrigeration/HVAC or cryogenic experience (preferred).
  • Ability to read prints and schematics, and understand materials of construction and system components (regulators, valves, solenoids, pressure relief devices, etc.).
  • Willingness to follow safety and environmental requirements, including PPE use and required safety training.
