Welder

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the production department supporting the welding operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Houston, TX 77039

Pay Range: $17.39 per hour 

Shift: Days (05:00-13:30)

What's the Job?

• Welds production and prototype instrumentation piece parts in various materials including stainless steel, precious, and semi-precious metals using TIG and/or MIG welding processes.
• Operates program welding machines to weld production units and assists machine welding operators during high-volume production when workload requires.
• Ensures welds pass destructive and non-destructive testing based on certification requirements per individual product specifications.
• Maintains individual welding qualifications and certifications as per product requirements.
• Sets up fixtures and lays out work for production and prototype piece parts, performing miscellaneous tasks as needed.

What's Needed?

• No minimum experience required.
• Ability to operate welding equipment and follow safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Welding certification and qualification as per product requirements preferred but not mandatory.
