2nd Shift - Machinist

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a 2nd Shift - Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 2nd Shift - Machinist

Location: Ludington, MI

Pay Range: $22.25

Shift: Monday - Thursday | 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual machining equipment according to specifications and production requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other quality tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery as needed.

What's Needed?

• Previous machining experience preferred.
• Experience operating CNC machinery is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in the use of measuring and inspection tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
