Assembly Specialist

Our client, an industry leader in gas turbine and compressor manufacturing, is seeking an Assembly Specialist to join their team. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the assembly and disassembly of critical equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and technical proficiency, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $20-$25 or DOE

What's the Job?

• Perform complete assembly or disassembly of gas turbine and compressor packages and related sub-assemblies.
• Develop and interpret technical assembly instructions, building methods, and sequencing of core compressor internals and auxiliaries.
• Inspect, repair, replace, install, and maintain mechanical components and assemblies for gas turbines and compressor packages.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality control, material control, and production teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety standards and procedures.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED, or 10 years of relevant Gas Turbine and Compressor experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in assembly of rotating equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred expertise in Siemens Energy turbomachinery equipment assembly, including SGT 100-400, A 35 / A 65 Gas Turbine, and RF and Datum range turbo compressors.
• Skilled in developing and interpreting technical assembly instructions, building methods, and sequencing of core compressor internals and auxiliaries.
• Ability to use micrometers, indicators, hand tools, air grinders, and overhead lifting devices safely and effectively.

¿En qué consiste el trabajo?

• Realizar el ensamblaje o desensamblaje completo de paquetes de turbinas y compresores de gas y sus sub-ensamblajes relacionados.
• Desarrollar e interpretar instrucciones técnicas de ensamblaje, métodos de construcción y secuenciación de componentes internos y auxiliares del compresor.
• Inspeccionar, reparar, reemplazar, instalar y mantener componentes mecánicos y ensamblajes para turbinas y paquetes de compresores.
• Colaborar con ingeniería, control de calidad, control de materiales y producción para garantizar el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad.
• Mantener un ambiente de trabajo limpio, organizado y seguro siguiendo todas las normas y procedimientos de seguridad.

¿Qué se necesita?

• Diploma de Secundaria o GED, o 10 años de experiencia relevante en turbinas y compresores de gas.
• Más de 5 años de experiencia en ensamblaje de equipos rotativos en un entorno de manufactura.
• Experiencia preferida en ensamblaje de maquinaria turbomaquinaria de Siemens Energy, incluyendo SGT 100-400, A 35 / A 65 Gas Turbine y compresores turbo RF y Datum.
• Habilidad para desarrollar e interpretar instrucciones técnicas de ensamblaje y métodos de construcción.
• Capacidad para usar micrómetros, indicadores, herramientas manuales, amoladoras neumáticas y dispositivos de elevación.
