Our client, In Motion Systems Group and Electronic Controls and Motion Division is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the Manufacturing organization supporting precision machining operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and quality, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and the drive to learn and improve on the job.

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Location: Irwin, PA

Pay Range: $27

Shift: 3pm to 12am Monday to Thursday and 4hr day on Friday

What's the Job?

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machining centers in a precision environment to support daily production goals.
  • Regularly manufacture newly designed parts, including work holding, tooling, and machining strategy selection.
  • Program from scratch or modify similar programs to meet work instructions and documentation requirements.
  • Conduct detailed inspections of machined parts using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, thread gauges, and CMM to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Safely operate machine tools and perform hand operations, while completing routine maintenance tasks such as managing coolant and controlling chip removal.

What's Needed?

  • Knowledge of CNC programming code.
  • Working knowledge of manual machines, including saw, lathe, or mill.
  • Proficiency in shop math and the ability to interpret blueprints.
  • Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
  • Strong safety mindset, organization, and the ability to stay organized while keeping the work area clean.
